Documentation – Campaign Operations Playbook for Confluence

Campaign Operations Playbook helps B2B marketing teams run repeatable campaign workflows in Confluence with guided pages for planning, ownership, approvals, launch readiness, reporting, and retrospectives.

Current Product Behavior

The current app version is intentionally copy-only. Users can browse, preview, and copy workflow templates inside Confluence. The app does not automatically create, edit, delete, or publish Confluence pages for the customer.

Who It Is For

What Is Included

The app gives teams a ready-to-use workflow library for common campaign work in Confluence.

Quick Start

  1. Open Campaign Operations Playbook in Confluence.
  2. Browse the available workflow pages.
  3. Open the page you want to use.
  4. Copy the template content into your own Confluence page.
  5. Adjust owners, dates, channels, approvals, and company-specific requirements.
  6. Save the page in your campaign space or project area.

Most teams start with a Campaign Brief, Stakeholders and Responsibilities, Channel Plan, Asset Production Tracker, Approval Checklist, and Launch Checklist.

Recommended Confluence Setup

A simple campaign structure works well for most teams:

We recommend one central hub page per campaign that links all related workflow pages in one place.

How Teams Typically Use It

Phase Typical use
Planning Define goals, audience, offer, owners, channels, dependencies, dates, and launch criteria.
Execution Track assets, handoffs, blockers, approvals, and campaign readiness in a shared structure.
Launch Use launch and approval checklists to catch missing assets, unclear ownership, and tracking gaps before go-live.
Reporting Document outcomes, lessons learned, recommendations, and next actions for the next campaign cycle.

Important Boundaries

Known Limitations

This first Marketplace version is intentionally conservative. It focuses on safe template browsing and copying inside Confluence.

If later versions introduce controlled page creation or richer automation, that behavior will be documented separately and reflected in the app’s Marketplace listing, privacy and security information, and support materials.
